CANADA: No News on Networking like – Biz Network News.com
Today’s column features a new website in the Canadian market that focuses in on developing relationships and networking for small business called www.biznetworknews.com. The site is everything networking in Toronto and Southern Ontario and will soon expand to other cities all across Canada. If public relations professional, Jennifer Beale has her way, it will soon be one of the biggest databases for networkers and small businesses in Canada on the Internet.
Talking with Jennifer, you get a strong outgoing person that talks confidently about herself, her business and her networking website. It’s hard to believe that Jennifer was once a timid shy person that stayed away from public contact. That all changed once she found networking and found the joys of social capital by going regularly to a BNI networking club.
Enter now the publicist, editor, writer and entrepreneur who says she regularly communicates with thousands of people via her well stuffed Rolodex, exploding business networking site and at various events and activities, she organizes for clients, friends and regular members of her network. Jennifer is the consummate networker and has learned to talk the walk about networking. Here are a few of her basic networking rules: always help others and you will help yourself, always ask questions of others first, don’t sell your products or programs, be receptive to others and always ask how you can help. Social capital she says “ is all about understanding others needs first.”
These steps have helped Jennifer develop www.biznetworknews.com as well as other activities in Canada such as “National Networking Day’, “Summer Snooze” “The Network Newsletter”and “The Biz Directory” which are just some of the products she has developed and directed at small business. Jennifer believes that it is important to learn the essence of the individual and to simplify the discussion to let others tell you what they need and most of her products evolved out of the needs of others. These activities are just part of her ongoing networking and promotional marketing empire, which she has developed easily and effortlessly through her network of contacts.
Jennifer Beale is one of Canada’s budding networkers and with her vast array of business publications, events, websites and networking savvy should prove to be the person we should all want to meet.
