“Neuromarketing” or “Neural Marketing” is the next “Social Media”, no question about it. If you do not know anything about neuromarketing and neural training, you need to get on it today! Three to four years from now, barring the world doesn’t end on 12-20-2012, we will be whistling a much different tune in the marketing world, and business in general for that matter. Neural information is the trend of the near future. First there was email, then there was IM, then there was MySpace, then Facebook and so on, and logically after social media will come neuromarketing. The progression of social activity has been done at the speed of light, but do you know why? What are all of these sites really doing?
Social Media sites gather information, lots of it. They are a platform for the powers that be to use in order to gain more leverage on the population as a whole. Do not let the nice guy images of social site CEO’s fool you, they are power hungry and powerful people with the exact same motives as any other business and marketing person, they want to capture all the info they can.
All the information gathered from these social sites provides valuable data for marketers, businesses, spouses, parents, and the government and so on, but what are they looking for? They certainly want the basics, name and address and hobbies, but there is much more. Through Neuroscience these sites are accumulating precise data on; the things you do, when you do them, why you do them, what you talk about, when you buy things, why you buy things, how you react to adversity all the way down to determining your daily emotional status via the info you share. This is a neural network. It is gathering the information that you do not fill out on a form, it is reading your patterns and predicting your next moves or actions, that’s neural.
Neural information truly is the end goal for social sites, that’s where the grand scale monetization of social media will occur. The playful interactions and videos of babies are merely a shield from the purpose of the sites themselves. Neurologically these sites are seeing how you react to these videos and comments and postings for another purpose, a bigger plan. Think of how many millions of dollars are saved by YouTube every day. Think of all the money companies would have spent on focus groups and testing before a launch, it is staggering.
Think of how often the phrase “social media” comes up in your day to day life right now. Then, close your eyes, picture three years from today and swap it for neuromarketing or neural information. That’s where we are going.
Mankind has learned more about the brain in the last 5 years than it knew in the entire history of the world. That is a pretty amazing thing. This type of power combined with the popularity of social media is no fluke or coincidence, make no mistake. These social sites are just the catch nets for the real pot of gold, neural info. This type of info can and will change everything we know. Imagine not having projections for sales, they will be predictions!
Begin to learn the way the brain works and the ways you can train your own to have a better life or more focus. Knowing the basics is the best way to develop real original thought. Once you have the basics down and have gone through a program, then begin to use this group taught, self-learned data and apply it to your marketing and business strategies.
