- Stepping Out to Make a Difference
More than ever, women are actively making a difference in the world and constitute the fastest growing segment of American business. A third of all new businesses are created by women yet women continue to face significantly more barriers to entrepreneurial activity in comparison with men. Women in Business Network of America (WIBNA) is focused on "leveling the playing field” by providing cutting edge information, on-going training and a strong network of support for women in business and those who desire to excel personally and professionally.
The Women in Business Network of America (WIBNA) is a division of Circle of Champions Seminars®. WIBNA is dedicated to the support and success of women in business across America and around the world. Their mission is to help women through all stages of business growth and assist them in becoming successful businesses through state of the art training, networking and personal mentoring. Their business network provides a strong support base and atmosphere that nurtures strategic relationships and equips women for peak performance.
While WIBNA has a strong emphasis on helping women to start and build successful businesses, they are equally committed to developing women who have a world class commitment to personal excellence and total balanced success in every area of their lives; developing healthy self esteem and leadership skills; discovering and cultivating dormant gifts, talents and abilities along with developing habits of success along with life skills. While many training organizations focus on the external aspects of success and personal achievement, WIBNA seeks to incorporate the spiritual dimension into their seminars and workshops which, to WIBNA, is the foundation for all true and lasting success.
Sherry L. Yates; wife, mother and entrepreneur is President of the Women in Business Network of America. She retired from Corporate America in 2003 to become COO of Circle of Champions Seminars after a very successful career as an administrator for a fortune 500 company. Sherry has a heart for women entrepreneurs with families and their struggle to manage it all. Her passion is to teach women how to balance business, personal and family life. Sherry was born in the U.S. Virgin Islands and came to America at age 17. Her journey has lead her to the wonderful privilege of doing what she loves most, working with her husband, raising happy children and helping people to achieve their God-Inspired dreams and goals.
For Cheryl Adams, Regional Director of CEO Space Mid Atlantic, LLC. the WIBNA events are fun, educational and engaging. There is always high energy. At our last event the master of ceremonies, Natasha Pierre, a professional model and inspirational speaker, kept everyone engaged and interacting. Cheryl had the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with other like-minded women business owners. One of the trainers that she met was Annetta Wilson, author of Coaching for Success. Cheryl defines her as an expert in media training who helps to put the pizzazz back into a business so that the business operates at peak performance. Annetta helped each woman to develop a sharp, engaging elevator pitch that was sure to draw the interest of new prospects.
The January 2011 WIBNA was graced with fashion tips from Sharon Bullock of Metamorphosis Boutiques. Sharon presented a fashion show drawing women from the audience who modeled Sharon’s clothing lines that exemplify “where Art meets Fashion”, Sharon’s expertise. Successful business women dress with excellence.
The WIBNA gave opportunity for vendors to exhibit and share their expertise with the attendees. Of course, “show and tell” and “show and sell” is always fun for all. The range of experts vending were from exquisite jewelry to exotic foot jewelry to unique fashion. Lose 10 pounds in 10 minutes was a favorite, along with the best skin care and yes, even staging opportunities to sell that home that needs to be dressed to be sold at the optimum price.
According to Cheryl, Sherry Yates is a gem. She is genuine and flows with an administrative grace that compares to none. I would be remiss not to mention Sherry’s husband and founder of Circle of Champions, Bob Yates. Bob’s inspiration to sharpen the women to their highest potential was received with warm appreciation. The WIBNA event is one not to be missed. Their next event is held in Orlando, FL on June 3rd and 4th. Don’t miss it ladies! Meeting women world-wide will take your business to a whole new level.
In Natasha Pierre’s words: “The Women in Business Network of America is a “must join” for every woman. Whether they are a wife, mother, entrepreneur, employee or all of the above, WIBNA is an invaluable resource that will enhance every role that a woman fulfills. The professional training received at WIBNA events is unparalleled, and what occurs between sessions is equally beneficial – networking with hundreds of women from various industries and backgrounds. WIBNA has succeeded in creating a comfortable environment for women to dream, grow, learn, create and share.”
