CEO Space Grad Guides You Through History Using a Vehicle of The Future with SegZone

Historic Annapolis, MD and historic Dover, DE have met with the future. Walking tours are a thing of the past now that Steve Dapias, Dispena Wilson, CEO Space Graduate, and SegZone have introduced the use of the Segway, a motorized two wheel personal transportation vehicle that balances via the use of gyroscopes and tilt sensors. The motorized device’s frame and handlebar work with the body’s movements to steer safely and stay balanced. The mission of SegZone is to bring fun and adventure into your life in a whole new way... by experiencing a Segway tour!

“These Segway tours really have an adventure component to them, people just love riding them. It’s an alternative way of seeing a historic district,” said First State Heritage Park’s Elaine Brenchley.

According to Dapias and Wilson visitors are as intrigued in the Segways as they are in visiting the historical sites. It also becomes a selling point for those who do not wish or can’t walk for a full hour… or two. They can speed along at two to three times the speed of a walker.

Diapis and Wilson will continue their expansion for the use of the Segaway SegZone tours as they expand into the Delaware beaches and onto the NASCAR Monster Mile, in Dover, DE.

There are very few restrictions with use of the Segway on the tours according to Diapis. Guests must weigh at least 100 and not more than 260 pounds, and must be 14 or older.

SegZone looks forward to having you as their guest and promise that the use of the SegZone Segway will make your visit unforgettable. They wish to provide you (or your company) with adventurous Segway excursions for fun and/or for history. They desire to make your experience both exciting and leisurely.

As Summer vacations are increasing, SegZone tours are becoming more in demand. They want you to be next! It is strongly recommend that you book in advance on-line as there are limited Segways per tour. If you are in the Annapolis area, please feel free to stop by and say hi. SegZone Tours is located in the charming historic downtown area of Annapolis, MD, just steps from the Naval Academy and many of the historic sites, such as city dock, the State House, and Market House.

In Dover the Segways are used to tour the First State Heritage Park. The park provide the audio content for the two hour tours the first Saturday of each month and one hour tours every Sunday. For the Saturday tours, riders can park their Segways and tour the Old State House, Legislative Hall and Woodburn by foot with a historical interpreter. The shorter Sunday tours feature interpreters at the Old State House.
