Zhanna Kens just finished one of her new creations, Latin dance costume "Lucid Grace". She is sponsoring professional dancers for StarStruck 2011, dance competition and gala to benefit the programs and services of the American Red Cross of Lee County. She is very excited about it!
StarStruck includes a silent auction, dinner, wine, dancing, competition, and entertainment. This event, the main fundraiser for the chapter, sold out the last two years and is sure to be the talk of the town once again!

The 47th International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition will begin in February and culminate April 7-9 with a conference and awards banquet at California State University in Long Beach, California. Teams of business students from Dubai, the UK, U.S., and all over the world will be competing.
Entrepreneur minds come together for this competition utilizing an international simulation designed to enable advanced business students to integrate and apply the theories of their business courses.

Herb Palmer Creates WINS with Nonprofits
We had a win this week enrolling two non-profits with our residual fund raiser. Prevention First is a nonprofit dedicated to preventing teen alcohol and drug use. www.viridian.com/preventionfirst Also the market street mission that provides shelter and service to the homeless since 1889 www.viridian.com/marketstreet Both organizations found a way to create residual income, go green and save their supporters money on their home electric bills. The program is called the New Jersey choice program, people stay with the utility for billing and service and the nonprofit gets two dollars per customer a month. It’s a win, win, win. People save money, get better cleaner electricity for less money and it helps support their nonprofit without costing any money. All non profits in N.J. , C.T. P.A. N.Y. and Maryland can sign up for this fundraiser to help the environment and create income for their nonprofit at the same time.
