The good news is, Caterpillar Company has hired 15,000 new workers in the past year. Great for the economy, right?

Not so fast. The jobs are in northern Germany and of no help to the US economy at all.

Banks are getting “smarter” A recent newspaper article said that banks are remaking themselves into people machines, opening new branches and putting lenders, investment brokers and customer service people out front so that they can sit belly to belly with people like you and me and “get to know us”.

Smarter? After 26 years as a banker, it dawns on me that “belly to belly” is how business used to be done. But CHANGE is GOOD. So...

Need a loan? Need money? Don’t talk to your banker!

Got a great idea? Well, too bad!

Here is a secret…money is available for your good idea. Just NOT from your bank.

Venture Capital is making a comeback. Investment banks are re-entering the fray. Receivables financing, even for a single customer is readily available on the street. Private investors are looking to make money for themselves by investing in you.

You may have to wander off the beaten (and I do mean “beaten”) paths of traditional financing, but the rewards can be well worth it.

Of course, if time is of the essence (and I have yet to meet the successful emerging enterprise where it isn’t) or if financing alternatives is not your strong-suit, follow us TNNWC.com, become a free member, and let us assist in finding you the capital that your business needs.
