BNI and CEO Space Back TNNWC and The National Networker
by Adam J. Kovitz
We all owe our success to the many people who have supported us along the way; along our transition from one point in time to where we are today.
In my case, the 10+ year journey from "recovering engineer and rocket scientist" to service provider and publisher of products that champion the spirit of entrepreneurialism and innovation did not happen overnight - not without cost and not without the support of two excellent, international organizations.
I have mentioned in the past that I have been a fan of BNI from my own start as an entrepreneur, looking to build his business quickly. I could not have done it without BNI, and while my business model changed, BNI was there to help. BNI, and the mastermind behind it, Dr. Ivan Misner, helped shape my early ideas of networking through his books, most notably The World's Best Known Marketing Secret. In January, 2007, one of my dreams came true: Ivan agreed to join The National Networker as one of our featured columnists and has been writing for us since.
This month, I am happy to report to our members (many of which, also belong to BNI) that we are the featured sponsor for BNI's SuccessNet online magazine. Additionally, this week we unveil the latest in TNNWC "Pavilion Technology": the new BNI Pavilion debuts this week and will feature some of the best minds of BNI on a weekly basis. Of course, Ivan will continue his regular column, Networking Like a Pro.
In 2005, when I started The Networker, I had a few major issues: a lack of capital and a lack of readership - I knew I needed to earn the title of "National" but I couldn't do it without a website and with just 900 readers throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Enter CEO Space, and its founder, Berny Dohrmann.
Thanks to CEO Space, within just 6 months, I had readership on both coasts as well as potential writers; Dr. Patricia Parham is our longest-running writer and I met her at a CEO Space Forum in July. Throughout The National Networker's history, many of our writers have come from this prestigious organization. I have also learned to raise necessary capital, I have gotten invaluable advice from their featured stable of business experts and I have received invaluable support.
To this end, in the coming weeks, we will not only be unveiling a new CEO Space Pavilion, but we will be offering their entrepreneurial training to our members (many of which are already CEO Space members and have taken advantage of their program). Additionally, CEO Space has agreed to join our Cooperative Business Committee (CBC).
I am forever grateful to these two organizations for their continued support - they join TNNWC in realizing that now is truly the time in our history to band together, work cooperatively as entrepreneurs and emerging enterprises to take command and form a newer, more robust economy.
In Unity there is Strength - now is our chance to be strong together.
All my best,
Adam
