New this week in the world of business networking:
"B. O. U. N. C. E.", by Paul Morris, Mid-Atlantic Bureau Chief
Thanks to my inner network I was referred to a great group. Have you heard of BOUNCE? It is an acronym for Business Opportunities Unlimited Networking Coaching Education. For all the business owners located between Lancaster and Harrisburg Pennsylvania, this is a great Networking Group to explore.
"White Collar NetWorking, With an Online Twist", by Peter Biadasz, Southern Plains Chief
I was recently looking for networking groups in the middle section of our great country and discovered VentureStreet. Where many of you live there are usually three types of networking groups; independent networking groups, Chamber of Commerce related networking groups and finally groups that are based in another part of the country (or world) that reach out to a larger geographic network. Veturestreet, based in Virginia, is one of those geographically growing networking organizations.
"Princeton Advisor Shares His Secret", by Michael Garry, Financial Editor
For my inaugural column, I took the opportunity to speak with Scott Portlock, CFP®. Scott is a financial adviser living and working around Princeton, New Jersey, whose firm has derived a lot of success over the years through its commitment to networking. Scott honed his networking skills while working for a major Hollywood talent agency. When he moved back east, he put those same skills to use as a financial adviser.
"NetWorking with the NFL Alumni", by Scott Manthorne, Sports Editor
Are you getting tired of the “same old” networking opportunities? Did you know that an organization exists that will allow you to connect with some of the heroes of professional football? Well you do know….
Considered one of the strongest business entities in the world, the NFL consistently delivers a “top notch” product every fall. Each year, hundreds of professional football players compete to maintain their jobs, and many are forced to retire. To provide them an opportunity to network, the NFL Alumni was created.
"After the Event: What does a JetNetter do with all of those new business cards?", JetNetting with Heshie Segal
I am frequently on the road two to three weeks a month. Most of the time, it is simply awesome to meet dozens and even hundreds of new people. For people looking to increase their data base, this would be considered a real gold mine. Think of it, a new stash of business cards, new leads, new connections, new relationships.
As Ever,
Thank you all for your readership and support!
