I’ve got the key
It’s all about you
It’s not about me
Networking’s easy
it’s even fun
when you do it right
it’s how business is done
Go find a stranger
make a new friend
give them a card
they’ll do the same
Find out their need
Listen and smile
Then follow up
With a call or email
Don’t get too personal
But personal enough
To know what they value
And how you can help
Sure selling’s important
But friendship is key
People do business
When THEY have the need
A resource to them
Is what you are now
You’ve got plenty of time
To close that sale
Networking’s easy
it’s even fun
when you do it right
it’s how business is done
