POWER THOUGHT OF THE WEEK: B2B Power Networking, Part 2

Power Thought of the Week with Patricia Parham, Ph.D.

B2B Pooling of Resources

There are a number of start-up business costs that are large in comparison to their early returns. For example, credit card and on-line charge services might be purchased and shared between totally unrelated small businesses. Complementary businesses might launch joint advertising campaigns, e.g., electricians and plumbers might share advertising space or web pages. Sharing office space, high speed or administrative services and buying supplies in bulk are other ways for small businesses to economize. What businesses offer services complementary to yours? Which businesses might be interested in sharing overhead expenses? Look for ways to partner B2B.
