Business Network International CEO Ivan Misner

joins The National NetWorker as contributing writer

The National NetWorker, a free monthly online publication covering all aspects of networking in the U.S., has a new contributing writer: Ivan Misner, founder and CEO of Business Network International (BNI).

"We're absolutely thrilled to be able to offer Ivan's perceptive thinking to our readers," said Adam J. Kovitz, CEO and editor-in-chief of The National Networker. "He has inspired a lot of what we're doing, and it's an honor to have him on board."

Misner founded BNI in 1985 and it has grown to become the largest business networking organization in the world with more than 4,500 chapters. Last year, BNI generated more than

4.4 million referrals, resulting in $1.7 billion in business for its members.

Misner has written several well-known books on the subject, including "The World’s Best Known Marketing Secret," "Masters of Networking," and his latest, "Truth or Delusion." He has been featured on CNN and also writes for Entrepreneur Magazine.

"The National NetWorker has been publishing for less than two years. Having Ivan Misner on board is a major sign of recognition for us," said Kovitz. "Our readers will benefit from his deep insight into the practice of networking."
