Safety Net-Workers Don’t Burn Bridges

Occasionally, we get into sticky situations with people. Our tendency is to want to be “right” and make the other person “wrong.” Sometimes, it is more important to salvage the relationship, at the cost of not claiming “right”, even when we are. Oftentimes, it’s better to apologize, even if the other person’s perception is flawed. It takes a confident and secure networker to let truth speak for itself.
